So yesterday at work... this tiny little toddler fella hunkered down behind one of the recliners and was just a gruntin' to his little hearts' content. His big brother comes over and says "Hey are you POOPING?" and the little fella has a red face and his eyes are kind of buggy he's so busy doing the deuce and he screams "No I am NOT Pooping!!!" Big brother starts sniffin' and he says "Well did you already poop because I sure do smell something??!" Little guy screams at the top of his lungs "LEAVE ME ALONE I did not POOP!"
At this point I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes and I ask big brother "Come on who are you the POOP POLICE?"
and in the real world a child can poop a bucket load of crap.... and we will wipe his little butt... give him a hug... and might even say "Oh gee.... sorry I accused you of pooping".
But when I said the phrase "POOP POLICE" for some reason it made me think that the phrase "Positive Police" at Zibbet could very much be replaced with the poop police slogan. But at this point they might need a factory load of Pampers to start cleaning some of this stuff up. And there seems to be a very small group of them now who huddle around wiping each others arse whilst telling one another "Oh GEE.....what's that FABULOUS perfume you are wearing?"
Kind of made me laugh thinking about it and that's my Rhonda ramble for the day.

The Day the Zibbet Vibe really died for me when I saw those screen shots of what Andrew was up to behind the scenes
Yes....more and more it seems like the truth hurts the more you try to find it @ Zibbet
Okay.............
ya'll out there who have followed my posts since day one...
you know that I always showed nothing but love for the Zibbet venue.....
I post when I post not in hopes of bringing any fellow on line sellers out there down....
but in hopes of helping and offering my own experiences and thoughts....
and these are simply thoughts
(my own thoughts)
I do not represent anyone here but myself.
Let's just say that I don't drink a lot of Koolaide
but at the same time let's just say that I do try to find the good in all people and I often try to make excuses for why people might have done something wrong.
When I used to look back at the mistakes I thought were happening at Zibbet....I was pretty defensive.
This was such a nice group of people who were trying their best and maybe made mistakes because they had not enough experience or were simply way too nice.
And that was my take on the thing and merrily went along promoting and defending the venue and spent way too much time listing more and more items there.
Flash forward to the day the Zibbet Vibe really and truly died (for me at least). The day when I ran out of excuses for why they were making what I thought were so many mistakes.
I had started this thread about how Cheerleaders come in many shapes and forms. And I started the thread because I already had some very good knowledge about how some of the "cheerleaders" in the forums at the time I wrote the post...were for some unknown reason being given a "pass" and were carrying on some very questionable behind the scenes activity and also sometimes reared their ugly heads in the forums and kept getting away with it.
Well like I said ^^^I knew for a fact that they were behind the scenes doing some very nasty things. They were in my opinion in no way shape or form promoting the business that I had put a lot of time and hopes in thinking I had a chance for my Zibbet business to thrive in. I had done all of that work and given them my $200 in that life time premium offer because I had faith that the venue was going to be a place where I could thrive and that my business would someday grow because I believed in the integrity of the founders and CEO's of the venue.
And at the time I still felt that the CEO's on the venue cared and had values and the integrity that I felt comfortable with. I didn't care about their religious views or what they were doing off of the site.... that was none of my business as far as I was concerned.
Then it became very clear that they somehow were concerned with what others were doing off of the venue and made statements about it at the same time that we were asked to overlook what their personal views and beliefs were (yes we have have screen shots and saved their statements both of what they felt and what they said about watching what others were doing and how what others were doing elsewhere would not go unnoticed).....
All of this from a venue who preys upon getting members from those having discontent and sharing it and finding Zibbet because they have discontent and do not feel comfortable where they are at.
Totally seems now like a bunch of Hypocrites Crap....they thrive on others finding them because the ones who find them are not happy with the venue they are on
and yet the minute you dare to ask a question in the forum...
you'll get the reply...
"If you don't like it leave"
how does that make any sense at all that they actually mostly have new people there who didn't like another venue and that is why they are seeking out a "home" where they can feel comfortable at when they go to Zibbet?????
Yep.....that is how most on zibbet have found the venue (they didn't like the venue they were on and that is where they heard about Zibbet)

Why? Well I figured out it was because I thanked Robin @ Anyoldtime for working so hard to bring so many sellers to the venue.
Yep they had thrown her under the bus and I stepped up to the plate in a kind of WTH? are you doing here where you think it is okay to ignore the ones who have really brought sellers and listings to this venue???? I was dumbfounded that they just tossed her aside without a thank you or anything. And honestly could not believe what I was seeing unfolding .
And then guess what? When Andrew behind the scenes and his POzzY Posse weren't successful in burying that thread and it was getting a ton of views..well gosh what happened NEXT? ... All the time that thread was up I saw the proof that Andrew was conspiring behind the scenes to in fact "PROMOTE" the us Vs. them and when they didn't get the thread buried....he simply closed it.
That was the day the Zibbet vibe died for me....the day I stopped believing that all of the time I spent there was a good thing.
Was I angry he had closed the thread? No... I was actually sad that he closed the thread.
I had a lot of friends on that venue all over the place. And when I saw some of them still left in that "retreat" hidey hole deal.... I seriously had a bit of throw up in my mouth that I had to swallow.
Do I have a "hidden" agenda to bring down Andrew and the Zibbet venue? Nope I still have friends on that venue thinking they can make a living there.
But I do know for a fact that Andrew conspired behind the scenes and in fact did have a hidden agenda regarding me and several others.
This I do know.
And guess what Andrew....
we are not simply gonna ride off into the sunset any time soon.
We don't take kindly to threats.
And even though it apparently looks like the Zibbet coffers might be drying up....
The team "waking up and sharing what is really going on over there"
is certainly most certainly going to prevail.
Why?
The truth is on their side
and guess what?
the momentum has come and gone....you had it you lost it...
you failed...and it ain't coming back no matter how much spin you try to spin and good luck on ever getting another chance at the one you just had and ruined by your own doing not the ones who are supposedly out there trying to bring you down.....you did a great job of that on your own...congratulations... not

#Zibbet where sometimes the truth is even worse than you suspected..the PoZZy Posse round-up
There's much to be said about negative energy...
but lately some positive things have happened as a result of the very negative actions of a select few.
And here's the thing......
the more spin they keep spinning just seems like it's starting to blow the top off of the hen house.
I know that there are always at least 3 sides to every story and I know that some of the Z Zealots are so far gone that they wouldn't know real if it smacked them in the forehead.....
that being said.... it is nice to see that some of them have woken up and realized that there were and are indeed some very strange things happening behind the scenes.
And I'm just gonna have to call B.S. to the theory that someone is spreading about how the person who recently got the apparent "boot" was somehow provoked into acting the way she did. It seems so obvious to many that this gal was so busy sniffin' around in everyone's business and telling them what to do and say... that the more she got away with....the bigger and bolder her britches became.... and she was encouraged from the head honcho there to continue acting the way she did. They repeatedly condoned her actions.
Now.... long after they had plenty of time to do the right thing... the situation became very public.... and they scurried and scrambled and the private hidey hole membership seemed to lose a few people and finally after they thought the activity had been cleansed enough they took it public. Problem was that someone forgot to erase the part where Andrew was calling members trolls and encouraging the private ones to bring "death" to certain conversations....very odd behavior most would think because whenever he puts on his "public" face.... he promotes robust conversations in those forums. What a crock of B.S. eh? Oh and the public formerly private group has now amazingly disappeared :=)
Then the story is that they are so busy they hadn't had time to address the situation. (More B.S.) They had in fact already addressed the situation and basically told the person who had clearly been bullied that she needed to avoid conversations that the other person was involved in and there would be no more problems.
That was what they had decided to do about it. Nothing. Nothing at all. Only after it became so public did they decide to do something about it. And this made several of the "positive peeps" a.k.a. "poZZy Posse "... kind of step back and really look at the situation and suddenly some of them realized that they no longer were comfortable being a part of that team.
Well no worries cuz now those private retreaty hidey hole teams have also vanished. One made another B.S. excuse that they are gone because the team leader was kicked out of the Forums and that is why the groups they were leading is gone. Nope. Not the truth. Yes in fact yet another lie from the spinners of Zoooook.
Banned people who had started groups there still have groups that are showing in the community.
And back to that private hidey hole "reveal". I have to say that when they briefly went public.... (even after so many of their members had bailed on out of there....it was so clear and rather humorous as we watched the activity of them scurrying around busier than a cat trying to bury a turd on a frozen pond). But when they very briefly went public---some of the faces we saw were indeed ones that we had suspected of being there all along. Yet some of the others who were/are a part of that group was quite shocking for me to see and honestly made me sad. Yes indeed... sometimes the truth really is worse than what you expected.
And by the way.... don't they have "Spin Classes" for spinners? Some of them certainly need to brush up on their skills....especially for the next time they think about brushing the wrong people off.

Is Zibbet getting another site tech to speedy up the relaunch? If so such great news!
Okay... great to see that Jonathan P @ Zibbet did the introduction to the site rebuild and relaunch as it really seemed to ease a lot of questions and fears of those who are saying when when when what year when??????????????

We are now full steam ahead and we're currently estimating a launch anywhere between April and June. This is still an estimate and there are no guarantees. We will be able to provide you with progress updates as we go to see how we're tracking towards this timeline.

On the left is Pavel. As mentioned he first joined the team part-time and is now fulltime! He's a senior Ruby on Rails engineer and specializes in the 'back-end' work. Essentially the stuff that you don't see, but that makes it all work.
In between Andrew and I is John. John is also a senior Ruby on Rails engineer and specializes in the 'front-end' work. This is the visual interactions that you see on a website.
Both of these guys are extremely talented and we're so lucky to have them on the Zibbet team!!
We also enlisted the help of Katie to work on the overall design direction. This is things like color palette, font, button styling etc etc. Here's a photo of her with John (pictured right). They don't always dress the same, but when they do, it's pretty funny!!

so obviously according to Jonathan....these guys were already on the team well before this ad was run online...one that advertises paying the lucky recipient a nice salary of $80,000 to 100,000 a year by the way.... so nice to see that Zibbet really is not falling but instead actively looking to bring more employees into the team that some have seemed to notice these people mentioned^^^ are kind of already involved in some other business ventures that the Z boys are involved in

We’re currently rebuilding the entire site from the ground up in RoR. Development is well underway and we’re pushing for an April release.

You must have a very good knowledge of the RoR framework (we use Rails 4.0). The first couple of months in this role requires you to migrate a large amount of data (via Rake task) from an isolated MySQL database (PHP app) and huge amount of images on S3 instance to the new Data Model and Structure in Rails 4.0 application and PostgreSQL database and new S3 instance. The migration will need to be a “one click process” and should be highly optimised in terms of performance and handling/logging possible data errors whilst in progress. Application downtime should be as minimal as possible.

Any Old Time you ask the hard questions it seems like Zibbet tells ya to take a hike
Once upon a time there was a Town Hall meeting. Seems like the fine folks at Etsy had this bright idea and decided to redefine the definition of "hand made". Shortly before this meeting the Etsy powers that be had also done some sort of tampering with another bright shiny thing and added some stars at the same time they deleted a 2 way street in the feedback overhaul. Many people were caught off guard and began their search for more baskets in an egg kind of way.
Lot's of teams and groups had many discussions and a lot of folks soon decided that Zibbet would be the place they wanted to try and find a new home as it seemed to be the place that had a chance to be the next best thing for buying and selling Handmade Vintage and Supplies.
One of the more vocal sellers leading the surge over to Zibbetville is a fellow vintie.... quite outspoken and very enthusiastic.....Ms. Any Old Time. I had been at Zibbet for awhile and was one of those who had recently just been kind of sitting on the side lines very patiently awaiting the elusive "rebuild".
Any Old Time was so enthusiastic that I have to admit... I once again caught that Zibbet fever and became excited and hopeful and all "Whooo Hoooo-ish" and energized....realizing that this was the moment we at Zibbet had been waiting for. So many sellers flocked to the venue at once that articles were talking about how the site crashed and the Ceo's Jonathan Peacock and Andrew Gray suddenly found themselves in the lime light. There they were... bless their hearts... promising to uphold the integrity of handmade vintage and supplies...and so many newbies were just amazed at how "hands on" these 2 were in the forums.
Flash forward to a couple months down the line.... and eggs were already starting to crack in that Zibbet basket.
The white rabbit had been banished after bringing a bit of BBQ sauce to the party.... Chuck E Byrd had been "helped" in swiftly shutting his shop down after he offered his advise in the forums that the Handmadeology links might be considered to be Black Hat seo in Google speak. Oh and of course we can't forget about the Handmaidens who seemed to have their nose in everyone else's business except their own. You could say this.... you couldn't say that...etc. etc.
Then dare we bring it up again? ( Well might as well because yep..you can't unbury something that has already been dug up)---- the C3 thread came to Zibbet and the forums there have not been the same since then. It was like you couldn't be in the middle or not have an opinion.... suddenly---- if you weren't all in and for them----OMG---- you were now a trouble maker and you were AGAINST them and were supposedly trying to bring the venue down. We were all told to overlook Andrew's mistake of tying his highly controversial political views to the Zibbet venue... and at the same time it was becoming quite clear to a lot of people that whilst Andrew thought it was okay to protect his Freedom of Speech.... he made it VERY clear that they were watching what others were saying in places other than the Zibbet venue and basically that if you said things they deemed unfavorable to Zibbet in your own spaces that they would not be overlooked.
And by "watching" a lot of people might also refer to this as "stalking".... it was getting to be really creepy how this one little "PRIVATE" group seemed to be following people around.... and contacting them through messages and just over all nutzzzzz that they kind of took that creepy Koolaide and ran with it in some sort of feverish fervor that still seems to keep growing.
Back to Any Old Time......
She had started asking some hard questions in the forums and wasn't exactly getting any real answers. At the time it was really amazing to see how quickly they turned on her.... but knowing now what we didn't know then....nothing seems to be much of a surprise anymore. ( And that in itself is the thing that makes it even weirder....when you have heard so many strange things that none of it seems shocking.... you just get to where you expect to hear or be shown even more weird stuff.)
The day came when some of those Zibbeters pounced on Any Old Time and threw her under the bus and they actually put that bus in reverse and ran over and over her. Here was the person who had worked so hard to bring so many new sellers to that venue and to take that venue to the next level..... and BAM! she was banished quicker than you can say "AMEN".
The girl was pissed and she wanted her money back and they wouldn't give it to her. Zibbet had made a lot of false promises in "selling" those "premium" accounts that they weren't delivering on. And each time they were called out on something new.... the spin just kept spinning and more and more math that doesn't add up kept getting revealed. And now more and more people are digging deeper and deeper and yes.....spreading the word. It would seem like the CEO's there in zibbetland would have made themselves a lot more than the $247 bucks Any Old Time wants back had they simply treated her with some sort of respect.... offered her some sort of an apology... and given her the dad gum refund. Not only did that not happen.....but Andrew made it even clearer that he was going to "cleanse" those Zibbet forums even more so that new "users" could not see what was happening.
And those Zibbet forums today? hmnnn... I myself have been involved in a few train wreck kind of situations...but those forums seem to put the "loose in Caboose" and give the phrase train wreck a whole new meaning. Like a train wreck on crack? (or could it possibly be kool-aide flavored crack?)
The latest example? A new shop owner... LockedNLoaded gets called a sock puppet and bounced before he even has a chance to set up shop. I said in my last post that you seriously could not make this stuff up even if you tried. And I know.... I know.... it's their venue and they can do whatever they want with it. I just wanted to send another shout out to Any Old Time and people like her who had a voice and gave a lot of us hope that there is a venue out there where we can feel at home and where we can feel there really is a chance for us to thrive. Any Old Time and people like her showed us that we really can work together to make a difference. HOWEVER---
Many found out and are still finding out that Zibbet is not the difference they were looking for.
Good luck to all of ya'll who are still there trying to make a go of it..... and creepy Karma times a gazillion to the very few of you in that little secret group who seem to thrive on causing chaos. I think someone should start a little prayer group for ya....maybe we should pray that your grand poo bah hats will stop pinching off the oxygen to your brains as the thinking within that group seems quite questionable to many. wink wink

Today's latest News about Zibbet is once again..not so good
Well the latest news just keeps getting worse. I mean you seriously could not make this kind of stuff up even if you tried.
As many suspected for quite some time....
well folks..... the cat is out of the bag
or should we say... the cult is out of the bag
a---hem????
Andrew is said to be a member in that secret little group over there and yep.... he actually encourages his groupies to cause trouble and distraction when something is not to his liking.
And we actually wondered why he was not doing anything about the terrible behavior some of them are exhibiting behind closed doors? Well could be that he is the one telling them to do it.
Imagine that?
Well not so hard to believe and kind of explains a lot of those weird things that seemed so out of place .
And today it seems that Jonathan has gone into the forums and publicly stated that a member got the boot because they were a sock puppet. Yah... that unprofessional behavior once again talking about members in the open forum....and many people find this hard to believe that one in his position would stoop to this level.
It seems so incredibly childish and petty and not at all what I had come to expect from the venue.
Well here's the realization that many are seeing the light on...
expect nothing
.....because yes....
it has and looks like it will just keep getting worse.
Oh and by the way.... that so called "sock puppet" has reached out to a fellow Zibbeter and stated for a fact that they aren't a sock. (Gee.. They aren't even a talking tomato. ) They are someone who had considered opening up a shop there..... but since he went there and asked some hard questions.....

looks like "locked and loaded" got the boot quicker than you can say "handmaiden".
I guess the CEO's decided that he wasn't really a good fit for the venue. Well if the sock fits wear it but don't lie about it.
