Wow...I talked in the post below about why it kind of makes sense why some at Zibbet would make statements that make no factual sense at all. Enough said about that one.
But statements from one of the CEO's like this
"As I mentioned in another thread where you asked the question, this is the number of open shops on Zibbet. Not all of these shops have active items available for sale for various reasons. "
Okay....no problem with the CEO saying that....the problem however is that there is no way to fact check what he has stated above.
There are a bunch of funny numbers and convoluted facts that this Zibbet team keeps talking about and yet....where can you fact check anything they have said for years?
The answer is basically "NOWHERE"
The answer is that if you happen to question any of their so called "FACTS" that you will get lied about and labeled a bad person etc. etc.----
but we know that already.
And why do things keep getting more hidden?
Well one might think that is only because the truth has been put on the back burner.
Hello? New Zibbet that everyone was guaranteed from the CEO and his new staff of hackers and hustlers....THEY guaranteed that everyone was gonna LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
REMEMBER? LOL!
Why not just be honest.....
show how many real sellers with items for sell are there
show the sales that are being made there
(something that Zibbet has never felt comfortable with doing...)
instead they continue to try and wave another diversion every time some of the hard questions keep popping up.

the reality is that whatever mysterious amount of sellers you still have left on what has so far been an absolute fail of a rebuild....
they are still waiting for simple things like a site that will not time out while they are trying to list or fix things that are no longer working in the "new not improved as of yet Zibbet"
they are waiting for you to fix the dadgum BROKEN search there.....
there are a lot of things they are waiting for and a silly guessing game of what they are now supposed to be quote "SO EXCITED" about?
not this time.
they aren't excited.
FACT----
They were excited for more than 4 years over a flippin rebuild that has so far failed to produce Few FACTUAL farting rainbows of excitement.
let's see some real seller numbers
and some real sales documentation.
The truth will set you free.
No need for diversion.
Many of the few non-handmaidens that you have left are growing weary of these played out games.

because obviously to so many out here looking

Some #Zibbet rebuild reflections and cult connections kind of ramble
So we waited for the Zibbet rebuild and at this point I would have to say that I was honestly hoping for more. Jono had been saying that everyone was gonna love it and so far I'm not hearing that is happening much out in cyberspace. And for any of you clan members out there who are thinking "Oh she wouldn't have liked it if it was perfect"....hate to burst your thought bubble but that's just not true. All you really need to do is to listen to what the over all consensus is regarding this rebuild and so far people are not loving it...many of them are not even liking it.
What I found rather odd in my own case is that while so many people are complaining they can't get into their shops..can't get them to load....etc.
I am one who has had my shop at Zibbet on vacation for quite some time. Waiting to see if the rebuild is going to make it worthwhile to spend any more time trying to make it work. Waiting to see if any management type of changes will be happening. And who knows? The boyzz have been trying to shop this venue to investors since day one...so some like me are out here still waiting and thinking that things could turn around and head in a positive direction....nothing is impossible right? With a lifetime membership...have had the shop on vacay and just waiting to see if the site gets better.
So imagine my surprise when a friend messages me and tells me that my Zibbet shop has suddenly opened back up and had almost 500 things listed in the new rebuild over there on the "other side" so to speak. She had noticed it because a link to my items were at the bottom of her shop. She sent me the link to my items at the bottom of her shop and the first thing I noticed was that Zibbet had re-listed a necklace that I had un-listed there a long time ago. As a matter of fact...this same necklace sold at Etsy in August of last year..that's how long ago it had been unlisted at Zibbet. :=) So needless to say--- I re-set my password and went in to un-list everything that Zibbet had re-listed for me. I noticed that a lot of the ephemera items were so stretched out and pixelated that you could barely tell what they were... I also noticed that many of the items were listed in duplicates over and over as I went through the pages (even though they are one of a kind items). So I would have to say that I was one who instead of having magically disappearing items.... I actually had items that magically reappeared and even multiplied.
Yes bugs happen and they certainly will need to do a lot of tinkering on these things but my observation so far is that some one in their tech department should have started a thread and given some at least basic pointers instead of just leaving all of those people stranded not having a clue what to do. In my opinion this all has to do with what I have been thinking for quite some time that they have proven over and over again that they are totally lacking in managerial skills.
So in seeing that Zibbet had made some sort of milestone yesterday....it got me to reminiscing about my Early Zibbet experience.
I still remember landing in that Community and being astounded at what a nice welcoming friendly bunch they seemed to be. I also was thinking about a couple of spats I got into with some gals whom I had seen badmouthing Zibbet on Etsy and then they were calling Zibbet a cult. I can remember my angst and frustration of "HOW DARE THEY??? How dare they call these nice friendly people Cult-like???"
And it's all so funny now and sometimes seems a bit surreal.
The links and Zibbet experiences that people have since posted on the net were not out there back then. Nothing was really "out" there so to speak. But now all one would have to do is look at where the original 60,000 seed money for Zibbet came from and one would understand reasons why the Cult references often pop up.
And to look back and see how some of these people I had once defended and thought of as so caring and nice--- were actually members of "hidey holes" and their own little clans where they told lies and spread them about fellow Zibbeters, where they blindly went along and agreed with things they knew absolutely nothing about, where they would turn on people who had done absolutely nothing to them, where they would show their support for some of the most vindictive people I have ever seen....
well it's just all part of that live and learn I suppose.
Back then there were some of them that I knew were simply way different than me and we didn't have much if anything in common. I belonged to this sampler team and I remember being amused when some of them were not happy about how their most popular reviewer was constantly saying in the videos how much she loves me. And the reason for that is because the reviewer and I had a real connection and actually got to know one another and that is only one of the friendships I made as a result of being on Zibbet that I will always be thankful for. And there are indeed reasons why people are put into one another's paths...sometimes it might just be that the reason is so that you will find someone else along the way.
But I can honestly say that my Zibbet learning experience was seeing what many of these at first impression so called "welcoming friendly people" truly turn out to be like. They will definitely turn clannish at the drop of a dime if you happen to ask the wrong question or if they are friends with someone who starts rumors or lies or if you OHMAhGOD....happen to say something they think is bad about Jono. LOL!
At the end of the day...they've got a big problem in their meddling little hands here---
they are not exactly bringing in many new people from Twitter.....the naysayers are growing larger day by day.
There is no fan fare or excitement about the new Zibbet in the Etsy forums....
too many Etsians have been there tried that and speak up about it in the forums there.
So where are they going to find new people to hopefully one day make the venue grow?
Well the powers that be are going to have to start doing some sort of advertising or something. The only advertisement I have seen so far is a circus tent that asks you to sign up to be a Zibbet seller.
And the last I heard...
is that not many buyers are scrambling over there to enter items into their shopping baskets on the new Zibbet....heck....a lot of the sellers are still having a hard time getting the site to load.
Think buyers are gonna be as patient and stick around? Doubt it. Funny thing is they said they were going to gear the new site towards mobile devices but seems like those on mobile devices so far have the biggest complaints of how wonky the whole thing is.
Anyhoo.... at the end of the day this is one thing I hope some of ya'll out there reading this might reconsider. Because fact is that some of ya'll in that little clan are constantly reading what I have to say here..even though I am not seeking you out..LOL! But I want to reiterate that I've seen some very nice friendly people who have recently been hurt by your little group for no reason at all. They didn't do anything to you and in fact seemed quite supportive and stayed out of the drama.
And some of ya'll are not very nice at all even though you want to keep telling each other you are. There's a pretty big group of people who have compared notes at this point and not shocking at all to see that so many of ya'll claiming to be the so called "victims" are indeed the ones starting most of the dad gum trouble in the first place. More and more people out there are seeing that some of ya'll are indeed hypocritical meddling fibbing little troublemakers and you are not acting in a very Christian manner at all! I guess what I am trying to say is that next time some of ya'll want to go on another "Witch Hunt"...you should save yourself some time. Just stop and look in the mirror.
In the meantime let's hope this team at Hackerlabs can get the Zibbet De-build headed back into a real Re-build direction.
The hard working sellers there deserve exactly that. Bottom line. They have waited long enough. It's that simple!

The #Zibbet Hackers and Hustlers and Beaconmakers whilst in the middle of a Beta Rebuild/relaunch
I thought it might be a good update to say that word on the street is that Zibbet "Says" it has finally went into Beta testing with the relaunch/rebuild that has been promised for years.
Reports have it that there are 4-5 sellers and ones who have tried for years to sell something there -- doing the Beta testing.
Bottom line so far looks like less than 5 people "reporting in" on the "testing"
And kind of WTH moment for most out here in cyberspace who still care to look.
A site that Jonathan has stated this.....
In his last year of uni, he launched and sold an ecommerce site, which had gross revenue of $0.5M in it\'s first year.
He has also founded Zibbet, an online marketplace with over 40,000 members, and counting.
According to Jono

On the left is Pavel. As mentioned he first joined the team part-time and is now fulltime! He's a senior Ruby on Rails engineer and specializes in the 'back-end' work. Essentially the stuff that you don't see, but that makes it all work.
In between Andrew and I is John. John is also a senior Ruby on Rails engineer and specializes in the 'front-end' work. This is the visual interactions that you see on a website.
Both of these guys are extremely talented and we're so lucky to have them on the Zibbet team!!

Dearest Zibbet handmaidens Andy's plants have seemingly sprouted and a bit more about some truly #badhumans
Yep yes sir ree...the Zibbet Circus snake oil Handmaiden side show subject has about lost it's relevance.
But today I still find it quite interesting when original hidey hole members at Zibbet get cast away from the fold and start speaking their minds and true feelings about their overall Zibbet experience.
I mean... I still realize that for some of them thar die hard handmaidens....a SCANDAL occurs every time they even sense a bit of a whiff of wind underneath their skirts.
What I still to this very day fail to understand or even comprehend is why why why...must they make up chit and call others "bad" people/humans etc. etc. and make up lies about what has been going on for quite some time.??????
First and foremost.......
new people (if there are actually still any new Zibbeters who may be reading this today).............
come on let's face it.......
Zibbet has seemingly relied on collecting disgruntled sellers from other venues in hopes that they will eventually pay $ to become a premium seller on the Zibbet site. But the hard and sad fact today is that.............
Etsy seems to be the game in town where sellers can still actually sell some things......
and the talk about Zibbet in those forums is not at all very favorable.
Bottom line....
not much hope of them ever getting any type of momentum like they had last Fall and essentially BLEW IT.

Okay..... so from the above "post" that to me could really be a Zibbet difference story LOL! anywhoo...the part where it said

A friend of mine made the statement that it has been quite a side show on seeing how the "most recently appointed" handmaidens have stepped up into those forums and evolved into something we never thought they could have been.
Laughable to say the least.
I recently saw this post about one asking about a horror movie from the past and to me...there seem to be quite a few Zibbet correlations here LOL!

I was very young when I saw this movie (late 90s). It was during a bus ride on a school trip (I do not know why did they show such thing to children like me anyway). I do not remember the movie name and it has been bugging me since that time.
I remember only few things:
1) There was a machine operating at night with something like a huge arm that was sucking in curious people around it (and then they were mashed up into pieces and throwed away from the machine - but I am not sure about this part` maybe it is from another movie or I just made it up somehow)
2) I am 100 % sure that this part was in the movie. There was an evil guy (probably in black?) that used his device that looked like a big chair (with some kind of a helmet) to transform people into monsters (with a dinosaur-like head or something like that) using electric discharges.
The monsters obeyed the evil guy.
3) I remember escaping a group of people (4 to 6) through tunnels using a pad or something that could ride very quickly. They were hunted by the monsters on another pad.
I think that they were jumping from one end of the tunnel to another where were icicles or stalactites at the opening.
One man from the group put a spanner during the ride on the pad in a hole in the tunnel to stop the monsters behind them.

but no worries.....
the cure for Zibberts brain farts from what I have seen lately is evidently drinking some more of that tasty Kool-Aide LOL!

Have you hugged yer bad humanity today? #Zibbet #Zibbet ram rods #Zibbet false prophets
Well here goes another one of those "You just couldn't make this chit up even if you tried" # Zibbet.
Once they "locked" those forums down it was pretty certain that more lies and supposed's were going to start taking place but the boldness of the statements being made are quite absurd even when you realize they are coming from Zibbet-ville.
Here's the thing. People are not perfect. Shitty things happen and you deal with them or don't deal with them or forgive people or get forgiven but the bottom line is that life is not perfect nor will it ever be. People make mistakes and some people learn from them. Others just keep making them and blaming everyone else for things that could have turned out differently if they themselves had handled themselves or the situation better. And others tend to start rumors and lies in order to make excuses about what is happening.
One person in the Zibbet forums has recently made a statement regarding "Bad humans" and went on to make some sort of bull chit analysis about them wanting to hurt everyone and she found it frightening.
this is a bit of what she said....
Imagine if you worked in an office with someone like this and they were fired for their behavior. If you knew they were spending so much time of their daily lives blaming others, stalking, trashing others, plotting ways to cause damage and dwelling on the past. They eventually want to hurt everyone and anyone that even worked at the same place. That is the very type whom you would be concerned would come back into the building to hurt others. It is the very same personality. It is sad and it is also frightening.
so according to her.....people who question the actions/non actions at Zibbet are suddenly being equated to Mass Murderers? Wow.....just wow!
Well let me tell you what I find frightening....(and I found it frightening when I was a member of the Zibbet Community). The frightening thing to me is that people making statements like the one above do have a certain amount of education. And to me it is down right scary that they could make such stupid accusations and false assumptions and then spread it around. Now granted...there are not very many people left in those threads conversing with one another....
But for that certain Zibbeter to make the blanket statement that those questioning the actions/non-actions of the Zibbet head honchos somehow makes them all "bad humans"... is far more egregious than anything I have read on those Twitter #Zibbet feeds. And people (like the one calling others "Bad Humans").. who spread those kinds of lies and assumptions to me are the ones who will be standing first in line at the gates of Hell when reckoning day rolls around. (You know that place where "Bad humans" are supposed to end up?) :=)
Here's the thing that happens when bad rumors get started and then other people start repeating them or are afraid to speak up about it.
One rather extreme example of this is that Hitler said the Jews were bad humans. Hitler said that all Germany’s problems had been caused by the Jews. Many people believed him. And we all know how this one turned out when he used them for a scapegoat .
And those left in the Zibbet Hub should do themselves a big favor and realize that they are not helping their businesses in any way shape or form by acting this way. (Spreading false rumors in vain attempts to justify the wrongdoings of the CEO's.)
Who knows? Maybe the one talking about "bad humans" fell into a huge vat of Kool-Aide and hasn't been able to come up for air in order to supply a better amount of oxygen to her brain. #someone certainly isn't thinking very clearly.

I am just losing patience with some of those handmaiden humans who think that wearing a grand poohbah hat and trying to ram rod the Zibbet Hub is their biggest calling in life. (Oh and I guess they get a pat on the head every now and then from A and J and it makes it all worthwhile) hee-hee

Some bullies think they can control everything...but Joe can't keep the ice cream from melting
So here's just a little hypothetical story......
Joe owned an ice cream shop.
He really liked his ice cream shop
but turned out that he also liked
to fool around with other things
on the side.
He had an affair with let's say
a lonely handmaiden
(just as an example)
Soon the news got out and people
started talking about Joe and what
he was doing.
A lot of people stopped buying Joe's
ice cream and didn't want to have
anything to do with Joe anymore.
The word started spreading on social
media about what Joe and his handmaiden
had been up to behind closed doors.
People started feeling that they
could not really trust Joe any longer
and were talking about it.
A lot more hash tagging his
business and well quite frankly
Joe was very lucky that there were
no Yelp reviews so far about
all of his shenanigans.
And the people started joining
and reconnecting.....
Asking a lot of questions
and even former enemies
realized that they were
actually friends once again
because even though they
didn't want to believe all of
those rumors they had heard...
they were simply
tired of what Joe
was telling them.
And Joe lost a lot of business because of it
and the lonely handmaiden also lost her JOE-job.
The handmaiden became very upset.
She started threatening people about how they
had interfered with her business and she
came out of hiding and tried to
bully them to stop talking about the truth.
But in a land where free speech , screen shots , and
especially "Google cache" is king.
It seems like no matter what Joe and the handmaiden
are saying now will make much of a difference.
There is no law against telling the truth.
But we all know that
Sometimes bullies get a little carried away
with themselves.
They get so used to controlling everything
that they lose sight of the fact when they have
already crossed the line and are in reality
the ones
who should stop doing what they are doing.
Or at least stop being so public about it.
They should crawl back into their hidey hole.
where they have much more control over
telling everyone else what to do.
And the last time we looked
"Hiding"
means exactly what the
Websters' Dictionary says it does.

In the meantime.....

Questionable respectful behavior and no wonder so many rumors get started at Zibbet
I thought a bit about posting this because combating negative energy is often a time suck regardless of how good your intentions are.
I just have to say that after thinking about this... the situation kind of reminds me of that old "telephone game"....someone whispers something in someone's ear and it gets whispered to many others on down the line and the outcome of the conversation is nowhere even close to what actually happened.
There are a lot of "rumored" whispers over there in the Z forums. Certain folks are pretty good over there at saying things like "I heard" or "I suppose" and then suddenly it becomes "Fact" after a few others repeat and add to the story. Not sure why this happens. (Although if I were a betting woman I'd have to place a bet on the fact that from my own personal experience...the most gossipy judgmental and "slam talking" groups of people I have ever known seem to have been gathered in certain congregations on Sundays....if you get my drift) wink-wink.
Yep there I said it.... I would have to think that a certain group of ya'll over there simply like to gossip and there's not much happening there so things naturally have a way of "making themselves up".... Now when you add to that mix a certain CEO who likes to hang out in the hidey holes and encourages the behavior of changing up conversations....this fact simply makes the whole rumor mill get even bigger and BOLDER.
Okay....let's just use this for example.....
a certain person made a thread the other day about respect....
I then made a blog post here that had a couple of comments from her thread and someone else I know also had a conversation with this same person on Twitter. Now as far as I could see..... there was never any ill will or malice towards this person at all.
And there-in lies one of the problems as far as I can tell.
Whenever someone says something negative about Zibbet or simply questions things that are or most often are not (happening).... certain people over there in Zibbet land take it all too personally.
No one is out to get them. But the paranoia seems to have risen higher than the tides.
So the one from the respect thread made some comments about a person bidding on her items elsewhere and blogging about it. Well... I didn't blog about bidding on her items....but when I checked eBay I searched through my pages of bids and found where I had bid from her shop there. And since she had stated that someone was blogging.... I thought she may have been talking about me....so I sent her a message on eBay and told her shame on her for ever insinuating that malice was intended (if she was talking about me.) Did not get an answer back... so maybe she wasn't talking about me and didn't have a clue what I was referring to. But it bothered me if she was in fact trying to create drama where there was indeed no drama whatsoever.
And the reason why I considered that she might be some sort of a drama queen fabricator (because I really do not know this person)....
anywhoo she had also stated in her thread that..
Make no mistake, THIS is the kind of behavior that has driven people to silence; the fear of retribution; NOT posts like this one. Take note: I am not the first person this has happened to; I am simply one of many. In November, I watched a very helpful and knowledgeable member of this community get attacked and drug all around the forums (called names, cursed at, etc.) for a completely innocent comment that was twisted beyond recognition. (After all, if you repeat something enough, people believe it, right? Pay attention, because this is the pattern: Twist, attack, repeat...repeat, repeat, repeat...) Not long after that, another member was flat out accused of being a liar because of wanting to start a private group where she could talk openly about health issues and everyday life with her friends, without feeling as though she was under a microscope. I know for a fact that this person had every intention of starting that group, as she and I had discussed it prior to her mentioning it in public. After that attack, she would not open the group. She was attacked via social media, blogs and other website forums until she had to get an attorney involved. In the end, she too left the community and the site.
Okay..... now maybe there was a big bunch of drama that I might have missed in those forums. But who was attacked and drug all around those forums and cursed at? Seems a bit over dramatic to me...but like I said maybe I missed this "drama".

I would really like to see some proof of the cursing and attacking and dragging tho. I really would. Because in reality this could very well simply be something that never happened in the first place....perhaps it could be those gossipy gals playing that telephone game of---make something up and pass it on to others but 1st add more to it assumptions "Maybe" "I heard " "I suppose" "someone supposedly said" kind of carp that they seem to do so well.
Gheez I don't know what the deal is with that stuff ^^^^^^
I do know this. I know who she is talking about in her second "example".... and this is what most people who can actually see and read out here in cyberville saw.....
the person talked in that thread about her "personal reasons" for wanting to start a "private" group. But the real deal was that the thread was actually started because word on the street had gotten out about how the CEO Andy and the handmaidens were in that private hidey hole plotting and talking about other forum members. That was a fact that had several screen shots long before they made that little hidey hole public for a bit until they realized they hadn't quite purged and cleansed it enough.
But no worries..... the secret was already out and the "private group" thread was started and had nothing to do with the person mentioned above...nor her desire to start a private group to talk privately about her illnesses.
And this to me is the biggest bunch of carp "speculation rumor" that I saw in the above statement from the person who made the statement above.....she said this....

WOW just wow!!!! are you really serious? Because the last time everyone out here looked..... the person you are talking about actually left Zibbet because she became aware of the fact that the CEO's had knowledge of a certain forum member and what they were doing behind the scenes.... you know the one who was "attacking people" and actually saying mean things? The CEO's did nothing about this persons' behavior until it became so public that they had to do something to save face....they were given ample opportunity to do the right thing and chose to do their own thing instead until they finally had to do something. Now that is a fact.
Take it to the bank F-A-C-T.
The person you are talking about left Zibbet because in her words "Her eyes had been opened"...she was extremely disappointed to learn that this was how they operate....and she left to open up her shop on another venue because she had business ethics that were not being met at Zibbet. To say that she left because people treated her unfairly is a dirty down right lie. How someone thinks they could spin this situation and make it a whole new story is beyond me. The person wrote about it in her blog....her posts have had screen shots and shared. Her words are still there on her blog. She left the venue not because she was attacked.....HELLO?????
She left because she opened her eyes!She stated that "I left because I did not want my business associated with Zibbet"
I myself had never really had much interaction with this individual. But I really felt sorry for her when she took that stand and at the same time I gave her PROPS! I sensed how hard that must have been for her to leave that supportive group of friends behind. But she did it because she has morals --- I reached out to her on her blog and ended up purchasing a baby set from her new venue. Gee....did I spend $60+ dollars out of spite and malice? Nope...I bought from her shop because I was proud of her for not being afraid to stand up for what she believes in.
Oh but now someone can go to the Zibbet forum and make up a whole new chapter?

now at the end of the day...we as on-line hand made vintage and supply sellers do support sellers on all venues.
Bottom line is that just because we do not support some of the actions from the CEO's or paths that the venues have gone down.... this in no way shape or form means that those of us out here who voice our opinions are trying to hurt individual sellers. At the end of the day.... we do this in hopes that we are offering our opinions to save others time and money and in the long run actually help them.
Of course this is just my opinion.
