Gamma still found Disneyland here in Bako LOL!

Okay....first of all....I realize right now how grateful I am that my grand baby Chloe and my step grand baby Lexie have such a wonderful "other grandma"  in their life.   It's like...how good does it feel to know that someone is doing such a great job loving and caring for those in your life that you love so much?
I still work full time at this point in my life....and my daughter in law has a wonderful mom who watches these babies most of the time when Sarah and Kev are at work...and Julie does such a great job of loving these girls and taking care of them !   They are both so smart and so loving and so sweet!  And I can't say enough of how I know that Grandma Julie has played a big part in this :)
Anyhooo....we picked up Chloe at Gamma Julies' house..after work last Sat....after Kev and Sarah took Lexie to Disneyland for the weekend in celebration of her 6th birthday.....
and here are a few pics of my fun weekend.....

 Every time I see these little girls smile or hear them laugh....my heart smiles........it's like I have finally gotten to the point in my life of knowing that days like these are the reason we are here LOL!

This one is part of my "Spankys' Dreams" stuff :)
I hand cut, sanitized ,and sanded an old beer cap...then hammered it up and placed it on a metal blank. Then I added an old "Good Luck" coin token...(the back of it has someone's name and says "Shop and Save At Weisners"). Then I added some vintage black dangles and some old gold tone heart charms....and placed it on two vintage chains and one new chain. (The small gold tone chain is the new one.)
The chain is 20" and the pendant is a little over 2" tall.
I decided to start consolidating my Eclectic Kinetric shop into this one and will be adding more pieces as I have time.

Elf On The Shelf Easy Peasy Hot Glue Outfits

So my nephew Logan asked me to make him an outfit for "Winter".....his Elf On The Shelf...a.k.a his newest "Bestie".  Today I got out the hot glue gun and whipped up these little outfits super quick.  Peppermint candies,ribbon,pom poms, a couple of plastic flower cabs,and a piece of a vintage place mat are the materials I used here and I'm sure most of you have some little pieces laying around that are just waiting to be modeled by some little elf out there :)

Pointsettia Sunday

So we went and put pointsettias out at the grave sights today for Mike's parents and my Mom.  God I hate going out there....I keep telling myself it's just a memorial....that they aren't really there down in the ground.... and the grass of course looked awful and dead because it is winter...the place looked even sadder and creepier than it normally does to me....
it's my least favorite thing about Holidays these days.....missing those who are not here with us.

What to do when dealing with a Narcissist?

Okay...have any of you ever dealt with this type of situation?.....
Someone tells you....."We need to talk this over it's called communicating "
And at first you simply know that the outcome is not gonna be a good one so you just 
A.-----  try to ignore the situation
But of course this can not just simply go away....they keep insisting the need for so called "resolution" of a non-problem that only they themselves are creating...so then
this turns into
B.-------you say there is really no reason to discuss this 
and then the person says that you are creating drama because you see no reason to discuss a non-issue that they are trying to create....
and then it becomes a 
C. situation-----you are left with nothing but telling them what you really think
and "Hello Houston" we definitely have a real problem now LOL!
And this is what happens every now and then....especially when dealing with a Narcissist who is getting what I call "NARCK---IER" all the time LOL....
and this is a good definition of a Narcissist that I found a long time ago.............


Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. Those with narcissistic personality disorder believe that they're superior to others and have little regard for other people's feelings. But behind this mask of ultra-confidence lies a fragile self-esteem, vulnerable to the slightest criticism. 

note to self.....
waste of time to get caught up in drama with a known narcissist 
lol!
just wanted to share this in case someone is going through a similar situation and has no clue why the person they are dealing with might be acting in such a KRAAA... KRAAAAAAAAA manner 
Walk away....sneak away....get the frick under their radar so they can go on and obsess about something else besides you....
just do it....
ignore them as best as you can
my only advice here and now
and best of luck and best wishes to anyone out there who has gone thru a similar situation :)

This rag crochet bracelet has vintage light pink fabric, vintage muslin and some multi colored loopy yarn. I have embellished the piece with a mix of new and old findings. The focal is a fabulous old vintage black and glittery plastic button.. There are vintage buttons,vintage jewelry beads and findings mixed in with new charms beads and findings. The bracelet is 1" wide by 9" long. This is a one of a kind piece and can not be duplicated :=).

U R a retard because your vote made a difference?

Okay..I don't often get political because honestly...I was once a patriotic fanatic...
(I have won "bicentennial debates"...I was class Pres. student  body Pres etc. etc. and have participated in the debating of the political process a time or two in my lifetime....)
I am now plus 50.....and let me tell ya what really yanks my yanker......
I hate it when Dems Vs. Repubs....call each other retarded because they didn't vote right etc.etc.---
in my opinion ya'll are very smart to just keep voting and trying to get your voice and opinions out there...
I also feel that at this point in my life that the "lobbyists" actually OWN whatever candidate is in office and the pocket padding often determines and sways their vote....
if I have to be politically "Honest" I will admit that I was on the "Ross Perot" bandwagon back in the day....and I did vote for Reagan even tho I was a registered Democrat.....
so I just think that Americans do indeed vote what their "heart" tells them to do....
I just wish we could all get on the "American" bandwagon.....get the lobbyists out of D.C.----
make the house and the senate work together or fire all of their arses....
and carry on...
like any best dad gum country in the world would do in this type of situation....
Americans want America to be great
and we shouldn't have Americans against Americans in any election.....
we should all be on the same page....
we should all be together trying to do what is best for our country and at the same time debating our differences... 
not hating each other because we are either at this point in time a "Democrat" or a "Republican"...helllzzz bells...many Americans will vote out of their "affiliation" at any given point and time......
you are smart....to keep voting no matter what the outcome
don't ever give up faith that your one vote will indeed make a difference.....
because it does.........
it really does make a difference......
but at the same time......
don't hate those who don't believe the way you do.....hatred will not lead them into believing what you feel is right.....intelligence in the issue at hand will lead them into your world...
I guess I just want to once again take a stand about
how I really really 
can't stand...
how our American voting system
continues to this day to still
DIVIDE and pit Americans against one another
instead of joining them together.

This statement necklace started out with two vintage yellow beaded necklaces. I wire wrapped and added a bunch of vintage jewelry pieces and also some old buttons and some torn vintage fabric. I love vintage yellow :=)
The necklace is 19" long and the focal is 3" wide.
