Some #Zibbet rebuild reflections and cult connections kind of ramble

So we waited for the Zibbet rebuild and at this point I would have to say that I was honestly hoping for more. Jono had been saying that everyone was gonna love it and so far I'm not hearing that is happening much out in cyberspace. And for any of you clan members out there who are thinking "Oh she wouldn't have liked it if it was perfect"....hate to burst your thought bubble but that's just not true. All you really need to do is to listen to what the over all consensus is regarding this rebuild and so far people are not loving it...many of them are not even liking it.
What I found rather odd in my own case is that while so many people are complaining they can't get into their shops..can't get them to load....etc.
I am one who has had my shop at Zibbet on vacation for quite some time. Waiting to see if the rebuild is going to make it worthwhile to spend any more time trying to make it work. Waiting to see if any management type of changes will be happening. And who knows? The boyzz have been trying to shop this venue to investors since day one...so some like me are out here still waiting and thinking that things could turn around and head in a positive direction....nothing is impossible right? With a lifetime membership...have had the shop on vacay and just waiting to see if the site gets better.
So imagine my surprise when a friend messages me and tells me that my Zibbet shop has suddenly opened back up and had almost 500 things listed in the new rebuild over there on the "other side" so to speak. She had noticed it because a link to my items were at the bottom of her shop. She sent me the link to my items at the bottom of her shop and the first thing I noticed was that Zibbet had re-listed a necklace that I had un-listed there a long time ago.  As a matter of fact...this same necklace sold at Etsy in August of last year..that's how long ago it had been unlisted at Zibbet. :=) So needless to say--- I re-set my password and went in to un-list everything that Zibbet had re-listed for me. I noticed that a lot of the ephemera items were so stretched out and pixelated that you could barely tell what they were... I also noticed that many of the items were listed in duplicates over and over as I went through the pages (even though they are one of a kind items). So I would have to say that I was one who instead of having magically disappearing items.... I actually had items that magically reappeared and even multiplied.
Yes bugs happen and they certainly will need to do a lot of tinkering on these things but my observation so far is that some one in their tech department should have started a thread and given some at least basic pointers instead of just leaving all of those people stranded not having a clue what to do. In my opinion this all has to do with what I have been thinking for quite some time that they have proven over and over again that they are totally lacking in managerial skills.
So in seeing that Zibbet had made some sort of milestone yesterday....it got me to reminiscing about my Early Zibbet experience.
I still remember landing in that Community and being astounded at what a nice welcoming friendly bunch they seemed to be. I also was thinking about a couple of spats I got into with some gals whom I had seen badmouthing Zibbet on Etsy and then they were calling Zibbet a cult. I can remember my angst and frustration of "HOW DARE THEY??? How dare they call these nice friendly people Cult-like???"
And it's all so funny now and sometimes seems a bit surreal.
The links and Zibbet experiences that people have since posted on the net were not out there back then. Nothing was really "out" there so to speak. But now all one would have to do is look at where the original 60,000 seed money for Zibbet came from and one would understand reasons why the Cult references often pop up.
And to look back and see how some of these people I had once defended and thought of as so caring and nice--- were actually members of "hidey holes" and their own little clans where they told lies and spread them about fellow Zibbeters, where they blindly went along and agreed with things they knew absolutely nothing about, where they would turn on people who had done absolutely nothing to them, where they would show their support for some of the most vindictive people I have ever seen....
well it's just all part of that live and learn I suppose.
Back then there were some of them that I knew were simply way different than me and we didn't have much if anything in common. I belonged to this sampler team and I remember being amused when some of them were not happy about how their most popular reviewer was constantly saying in the videos how much she loves me. And the reason for that is because the reviewer and I had a real connection and actually got to know one another and that is only one of the friendships I made as a result of being on Zibbet that I will always be thankful for. And there are indeed reasons why people are put into one another's paths...sometimes it might just be that the reason is so that you will find someone else along the way.
But I can honestly say that my Zibbet learning experience was seeing what many of these at first impression so called "welcoming friendly people" truly turn out to be like. They will definitely turn clannish at the drop of a dime if you happen to ask the wrong question or if they are friends with someone who starts rumors or lies or if you OHMAhGOD....happen to say something they think is bad about Jono. LOL!
At the end of the day...they've got a big problem in their meddling little hands here---
they are not exactly bringing in many new people from Twitter.....the naysayers are growing larger day by day.
There is no fan fare or excitement about the new Zibbet in the Etsy forums....
too many Etsians have been there tried that and speak up about it in the forums there.
So where are they going to find new people to hopefully one day make the venue grow?
Well the powers that be are going to have to start doing some sort of advertising or something. The only advertisement I have seen so far is a circus tent that asks you to sign up to be a Zibbet seller.
And the last I heard...
is that not many buyers are scrambling over there to enter items into their shopping baskets on the new Zibbet....heck....a lot of the sellers are still having a hard time getting the site to load.
Think buyers are gonna be as patient and stick around? Doubt it. Funny thing is they said they were going to gear the new site towards mobile devices but seems like those on mobile devices so far have the biggest complaints of how wonky the whole thing is.
Anyhoo.... at the end of the day this is one thing I hope some of ya'll out there reading this might reconsider. Because fact is that some of ya'll in that little clan are constantly reading what I have to say here..even though I am not seeking you out..LOL! But I want to reiterate that I've seen some very nice friendly people who have recently been hurt by your little group for no reason at all. They didn't do anything to you and in fact seemed quite supportive and stayed out of the drama.
And some of ya'll are not very nice at all even though you want to keep telling each other you are. There's a pretty big group of people who have compared notes at this point and not shocking at all to see that so many of ya'll claiming to be the so called "victims" are indeed the ones starting most of the dad gum trouble in the first place. More and more people out there are seeing that some of ya'll are indeed hypocritical meddling fibbing little troublemakers and you are not acting in a very Christian manner at all! I guess what I am trying to say is that next time some of ya'll want to go on another "Witch Hunt"...you should save yourself some time.  Just stop and look in the mirror.
In the meantime let's hope this team at Hackerlabs can get the Zibbet De-build headed back into a real Re-build direction.
The hard working sellers there deserve exactly that. Bottom line. They have waited long enough. It's that simple!

Peace ya'll and remember there's always time to go back and connect some of those dots and follow the bouncing ball.

About that Zibbet Rebuild Delay once again same old story different day

Anyone out there remember this post????
(from in case you are so busy thinking anyone who asks is a bad human)
..anywhoo
20frickin12?.................

I suggest you ...

Keep us updated as to when the rebuild is scheduled to be completed please

I am sure that many of us are anxiously waiting for the rebuild to be implemented. How about count-down. Give or take a couple of weeks. We won't hold you to it but at least we would have a bit of an idea as to how long we have to wait.
If this is already posted somewhere, then I missed it ... please point me in the right direction.

Because of the size and scope of the rebuild, it’s impossible to accurately estimate the launch date – even within a month either side. As we get closer to completion we’ll have a better understanding and will let all sellers know then. We do apologize for the delay.

What some people think about "loose" and howz that Gerbil in yer butt feeling today? #Zibbet

You know that certain story about the certain actor who had a gerbil stuck up his butt and had to go to the emergency room to have it removed?...........................
well that's the certain kind of  uncomfortable feeling
I would "picture"some of those Z handmaidens must feel every time another Zibbet truth comes out or every time they lose another one of their faithful forum followers.
Uncomfortable  indeed!
I can't imagine any other reason they would continue to enforce the farce that is right there if one simply chooses to connect the dots.
Many many sellers who have left that venue worked so gosh darn hard promoting it and their fellow sellers at the time there.
With little to no success.
Now some of the statements they (heavenly Handmaidens) are making about how Zibbet is now a vital marketplace and that Etsy is dying and has already seen it's hey day  is laughable to say the least.
I would think any one who cares to follow the dots
(without even trying to connect them )
would first look at the founder of Etsy and his original mission which was to truly create an independent seller maker market.
The Zibbet founders?  Well one might look at all of the links and see that they pretty much like to create start-ups with the hopes of selling them to investors. Yes it is a fact that  Etsy did see huge growth and changes once the venture capitalists came into play..... but most have come to the realization that Zibbet will probably never get interesting enough to capture the investor interest.
Bottom line
(#Agent Gerbil whisperers)
PPPPSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTT......

They (Zibbet) already blew the chances of that.
And it would take a miracle to ever get the huge influx of sellers or "believers" that already came saw and left .
Hello?
there are no other venues to draw disgruntled sellers from....and your pool of leapers from Etsy has already dried up.
I guess that is the only thing that has really died at Etsy.
Any type of enthusiasm for Zibbet whatsoever.
(And there never was much in the 1st place)
And people in those forums who want to talk about "Oh we have new members signing up and are growing"  certainly don't want to talk about that Elephant in the Zibbet room...........Namely~~~~
All of the people who left the venue in droves after flooding the site last Fall.
Why did they leave?
They were not selling enough to compensate for all of the time they were wasting there.
And of course there were those who did not want C-3 ties to their business.
And those who promptly left after they witnessed just how professional those in charge were when it came to handling any type of influx of sellers.
And those who finally simply heard enough excuses and back peddling.
Of course there are also those who had quite easily connected some of the dots and woke up one day and realized that it doesn't matter what may (or may not)  happen over there now.....
they have already seen enough of Zibbet past that they have no desire to be any part of whatever the future may bring.
Yes... there are still Some who think it may still actually happen one day .
(A true Zibbet Revival )
Baby steps.  Little Baby gerbil steps and all.
So I guess one of the questions for today would be
Would you rather ("quote" from another seller)
"loose your banner"?
or "quote" (from me mahself and moi......)
"Would you rather act like you had an uncomfortable gerbil running loose inside yer butt and you didn't quite know what your next slim shady sideways shift will be?"
Cheers to correct shifts and balances :=)

#Zibbet Money makers and hackerlabs and buy your premium before it costs you mo money

Well apparently Zibbet Ceo Andrew Gray is busy hawking his money mastery advice
http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/andrewgray4

while Zibbet Ceo Jon Peacock has a fridge full of beer and is in hacker heaven whilst being a busy hustler at

http://www.hackerlabs.com.au/

you can see the so called "new" Zibbet swan logo on the chalkboard in the above hackerlab link as well as what appears to be an aborigine at the bottom of the board doing something upside down. (Which I guess gives a whole new meaning to "down under") Whatever is going on it is apparent that Jon is renting desk space at hacker labs for $400 a month.

In the meantime the Zibbet newsletters still keep encouraging you to jump in on that premium seller membership deal before it gets even higher and the logic they are parlaying is that it will save you some money.

At this point one might be wise not to spend any more of their hard earned money or time.  At least not until these guys roll out that rebuild and the main thing......
one has to keep in mind is that even if the new Zibbet venue turns out to be the prettiest thing since lipstick on a pig....
the venue still needs traffic and people are just not going to magically land on Zibbet if they do not know it exists.
Wouldn't it be nice if Jon and Andy spent some time promoting the venue in order to help their members sell something instead of promoting the selling of premium seller shops?

I have said many times before that if you have a built in market of buyers...you can take them to a venue like Zibbet and save yourself some final value and listing fees in the long run.
But new sellers or few things sold sellers should in my opinion certainly think twice before spending any money before seeing what the Z boys have in store after all of the promises they have made.
It is indeed time for them to get this thing on blast.
One of their developers posted in a resume that the new rebuild was going to launch in early June.  It says right here that they renovated
10,000 stores.
Wow....are there really that many active sellers on Zibbet now?
This must really be exciting for all of those 10,000 sellers there waiting for the earliest June possible :)

http://pistachiomade.com/zibbet/

I'd have to say that I have always been quite fond of pistachios but last time I looked.....early June has come and gone and this whole thing seems to be getting more nutzzzzz as the years go by...but hey maybe Andy is gonna put out a new video soon on how to shake that money maker mo money mo money do the hustle.
step right up folks....don't ask questions....open up them thar pocket books and hand it over before the price gets even higher already okay. hee-hee.

Just a few thoughts About the Zibbet "NEW" Plans To Submit to the Find

Honestly..... I just don't see how a lot of this stuff keeps evolving into you just couldn't make this up even if you tried.
I will be the 1st to admit that these days my memory is a bit fuzzy every now and then LOL!  But I do know this.
No matter how much that the Zibbet hub has been purged and cleansed (and whatever it was that they did over there when Andy got that red rag in his bones).....
There are still those of us who have been there more than a minute......
yep...they forgot about the fact that
most out here in cyberspace will recall the fact about how Zibbet was once promising "Premium sellers" that they would be submitted to "The Find".
Then they got called out on the fact that they were not submitting to the Find.
Then after getting caught at not doing what they promised they were doing for their Premium sellers..... the Ceo speak was that they stopped doing it because the Find simply was not pertinent nor worthwhile for submission to being "FOUND" on-line.  They said that was why they stopped doing it and yet somehow forgot to remove that from their check-list of premium member paying "PERKS"-------
Yep that was kind of how they brushed off that whole deal of not submitting Zibbet Premium seller's items to "The FIND".
Okay.... so consider me STUMPED
I mean
SERIOUSLY SUPER DUPER .....
STUMPED
as to why the heck would this statement now be posted regarding the "NEW" (still elusive) REBUILD....
???????>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

2. We have plans to submit a feed to The Find, however Google Product Search still needs to be validated as a worthwhile source of traffic (that converts into sales). Of course, submission to the normal Google search engine (and other search engines) will happen. We have also improved your on-page SEO for your items, which we expect to increase your search engine rankings over time.

The CEO.....ACTUALLY said this awhile back.....

The Find doesn't send a huge amount of traffic to Zibbet for the items that are indexed there, so we deemed it low priority.

Okay.... so are they now saying that they think that "The Find" is once again important and that is in their PLANS....but that GOOGLE submission needs to be validated as WORTHWHILE??????

Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
But I don't talk out of both sides of my mouth
or selectively hear things
and I do try to remember things that
have already been said.
Thank goodness for that
cached kind of stuff.
Google has certainly proved
very valid on getting those things
in the correct perspective.

and as far as the statement that they have quote

"improved your on-page SEO for your items, which we expect to increase your search engine rankings over time."

Time will tell and sales
will be the bottom line
factor there.
Which should equate into
 MORE
Sales for sellers item's
on Zibbet....
(not MORE
sales for the CEO's selling
Premium accounts there.)
Best of luck to all sellers
who still have a shop there. :)
