Today's doins....upcycled table project

Man it's been so hot lately I haven't been outside much doing any new painting projects. Yesterday I finished up this table re-do and took it to Timeless today.
The chairs were in pretty good shape when we got them...I added some ebony stain to the finish and decided to go with 2 different vintage upholstery fabrics on the seats.
The table top was in poor shape and hubby sanded it down then I mixed up some chalk paint for the top of the table. Used the ebony stain on the base and then also added a bit of ebony on top of the chalk paint before sealing with a few coats of polyurethane.
Can't believe it is almost July already.

Hope ya'll are having a great summer!

Today's doins revamped coffee table/TV stand sharpie pen transfer

I've had this coffee table that could also be used for a TV stand sitting around for awhile. Today....I spruced it up a  bit with some white and beige sponge paint. Then after hubby sanded the top for me I did a transfer with a Sharpie pen and then put some wood stain and clear varnish on the top.
I think the piece will enjoy it's new life the 2nd time around :)

It's cooling off a bit in Bako... I love the Fall....last year we didn't have much of one....hope ya'll are enjoying your weekend!

The Junior Gardens Club of America vintage recycled pin button ring

An old vintage button/pin/badge was placed inside an antique gold tone adjustable ring blank.
The button badge says "George Washington Chapter The Junior Garden clubs Of America Better Homes and Gardens."
The top of the ring is 3/4 " diameter.
Fun gift for that special gardener in your life!

The surface of this decoupage cuff bracelet was a vintage napkin from a Chinese Restaurant (unused of course LOL!) I thought it would turn into something beautiful when I saved a few of them a long time ago.....but I was really surprised at how nice it looks on this cuff :)
On the inside of the cuff I used gold ink to hand stamp the paper.
The cuff is 3" wide.
