Short Term Steroid Treatments For Fibromyalgia and Arthritis

So I recently finished another short term series of steroid treatments for my fibro and arthritis and in my case it has so far been something that really works well for me.  I know there are pros and cons about steroids but the treatments are one thing that really seem to help.  I also recently had some numbness in my lips and the right side of my face, but once they determined it wasn't anything neurological...I stopped worrying about it ...and this round of steroid treatments also made the "numbness" go away. I have to admit that whenever I get done with the treatments...... I end up looking in the mirror a bit more trying to see if my face is starting to resemble "Sponge Bob Square pants"..... but we simply do what we feel we need to do in order to preserve the best quality of life possible right?  :) Oh well...it's really great to be square.....hee-hee
